On behalf of the Carpet Museum, we are working together with Pleijsier Bouw en Onderhoud to make the Genemuiden museum fully sustainable. The ‘carpet city’, which celebrates its 750th anniversary next year, has a rich history in carpet making. To keep this history alive for future generations, the museum is being future-proofed.

The building will be completely gas-free and equipped with well-insulated partition walls, insulated roofs and a new concrete floor. The museum will be equipped with VRF smart climate control, a balanced ventilation system with heat recovery and a new energy-efficient lift. LED lighting is of course used throughout the building. The museum installation is arranged by XPEX Experience Experts.
